Makers “BONE” HSB-06
The new “BONE” boot from Makers has arrived at Amboy.
Based on the brand’s “HORSE SINGLE” model, the BONE is a six-eyelet mid-cut boot that combines rugged work-boot character with the refined balance that Makers is known for.
Made with Horween Chromexcel Leather
The upper is crafted from Horween Chromexcel leather, produced by the renowned Horween Leather Company in the United States.
Chromexcel is heavily infused with oils and waxes, giving the leather a rich surface sheen, depth of color, and a distinctive sense of transparency.
The leather already has a strong presence when new, but its real appeal develops with wear. Creases become more pronounced, the surface gains additional shine, and the color gradually develops more depth, creating a unique patina over time.
An Unstructured Toe Designed to Age Naturally
The BONE is made without a structured toe box.
This allows natural creasing to form throughout the toe area as the boot is worn. Rather than maintaining a rigid shape, the silhouette gradually softens and adapts to the wearer.
It is the kind of boot that becomes more personal the longer you wear it.
Goodyear Welt Construction and Dr. Sole Outsoles
The BONE is built using Goodyear welt construction and finished with a substantial Dr. Sole outsole.
The wide black welt edge gives the boot a clean and defined appearance while complementing the rich surface of the Chromexcel leather.
Although the boot has a rugged workwear foundation, its proportions make it easy to pair not only with denim, but also with trousers and cleaner, more refined outfits.
Thoughtful Details
The insole features the Makers brand name, while the inside of the toe is lined with moisture-absorbing cotton herringbone fabric.
An additional pair of olive-colored shoelaces is also included, allowing you to slightly change the overall character of the boot.
