Makers "BONE"

Introducing the “BONE” from Makers.

A six-eyelet mid-cut boot based on the brand’s “HORSE SINGLE” model.

The upper is made from Horween Chromexcel leather, a material also familiar from the brand’s shell cordovan footwear. The wide welt edge is finished in black, giving the boot a sharp and refined appearance.

The insole is stamped with the Makers brand name, while the inside of the toe is lined with moisture-absorbing cotton herringbone fabric. Constructed using the Goodyear welt method and finished with a substantial Dr. Sole outsole, the “BONE” combines rugged work-boot character with a refined dress-work aesthetic.

This model is made without a structured toe box, allowing natural creasing to develop all the way through the toe as the boots are worn.

Chromexcel leather contains a high level of oils and waxes, giving it a rich, glossy appearance with noticeable depth and transparency. With wear, pronounced creasing develops and the leather gradually takes on a distinctive patina unique to Chromexcel.

The leather is also highly durable and suitable for regular wear in a wide range of weather conditions, making this a pair that can be enjoyed for many years.
