Introducing the “TIMBER CRUISER” TROUSERS from FREEWHEELERS.
This model is inspired by the outdoor trousers worn by forestry workers before World War II, reinterpreted through FREEWHEELERS’ own design perspective.
The fabric is a cotton duck finished with a paraffin treatment.
It is densely woven from uneven Zimbabwe cotton yarn, giving the fabric a firm, durable feel without becoming excessively heavy or stiff.
The garment has been washed, so some of the paraffin content has already been removed.
As a result, the fabric should not be considered highly water-repellent, but it already shows a naturally broken-in appearance with subtle wear marks from the beginning.
With repeated wear and washing, the fabric will develop further tonal variation and surface character, allowing you to enjoy the rugged aging typical of cotton duck.
The design is based on a work trouser silhouette with large gusseted flap pockets positioned on both sides.
The front pocket openings are reinforced with triangular stitching, while both the coin pocket and rear pockets are finished with flaps.
These details provide practical storage while also becoming strong visual elements of the design itself.
A large reinforcement patch extends from the seat area down toward the knees.
The back also features a classic cinch belt construction, inserted into the darts.
The buttons are made from nut material, with naturally varied tones that add to the vintage character of the trousers.
Lightweight moleskin is used behind the front buttons, on the inside of the buttonhole side, and on the reverse of the cinch belt, reinforcing areas that are not immediately visible.
The silhouette has generous room through the seat and thighs, then gradually tapers from below the knees toward the hem.
This provides comfortable freedom of movement while keeping the lower leg relatively clean and streamlined when worn.
Rugged duck fabric, large side pockets, an oversized seat patch, and a cinch back all give the trousers the heavy-duty character expected from forestry workwear.
At the same time, the tapered silhouette makes them easy to incorporate into modern everyday styling.

SIZE INFORMATION / How to Choose Your Size
Waist is measured along the top edge of the waistband. Front rise and back rise are measured from the crotch seam to the top edge of the waistband at the front and back respectively.
Thigh width is measured flat near the crotch. Hem width is measured flat across the leg opening, and inseam is measured from the crotch seam to the hem.
ATTENTION
This garment has been washed as part of the finishing process.
Although the fabric has been treated with paraffin, some of the paraffin content has been removed during the washing process. High water repellency is not guaranteed.
With repeated wear and washing, the fabric will gradually develop fading, wear marks, and changes in surface texture. Please enjoy these changes as part of the natural aging process.
Because natural materials are used, slight variations in fabric texture and color may occur between individual pieces.
