Introducing the “LEATHER WANDER MONEY BAG” from VASCO.

Inspired by vintage European bags, this wallet bag has been reinterpreted for modern lifestyles while retaining a classic appearance.

The body is made from kip leather that has been fully vegetable tanned in Himeji.

VASCO’s signature “OLD OIL LEATHER” is created using the traditional hand-dyeing technique known as “Oka-zome,” combined with the brand’s original burnishing process to produce the rich character of well-used vintage leather.

Each piece of leather is dyed by hand, resulting in natural variations in color, tone, and depth.

While the leather already has a distinctive character when new, continued use allows it to soften further and develop deeper color and luster over time.

The bag is designed to function as a wallet while also providing enough space for everyday essentials such as a smartphone and cigarettes.

The interior includes one coin pocket, two free pockets for banknotes and other items, nine card slots, and an additional pen pocket.

An exterior pocket provides further storage, allowing frequently carried items to be organized easily while combining the functions of a wallet and a compact bag in one practical design.

A vintage-style “UNIVERSAL ZIPPER” is used to enhance the classic leather bag character.

The body is stamped with the initials “B.L.W.,” representing Baggage, Load, and Wanderlust—a phrase expressing the idea of packing your belongings and setting off to wander.

It works equally well for everyday use or while traveling when you want to carry essential items in a compact form, combining the strong presence of leather with practical functionality.

With continued use, the leather gradually softens and develops deeper color and luster, allowing you to enjoy the distinctive aging characteristics of OLD OIL LEATHER.

OLD OIL LEATHER

OLD OIL LEATHER is one of VASCO’s signature leather series.

Each piece is carefully dyed by hand using the brand’s traditional hand-dyeing techniques.

Only carefully selected high-quality vegetable-tanned leather from Himeji, one of Japan’s best-known leather-producing regions, is used.

The rare hand-dyeing process, which only a limited number of craftsmen in Japan are capable of handling, was developed through years of experimentation. Through the skill of VASCO’s craftsmen, the leather is finished with the depth and character of true vintage leather.
