Introducing the “LEATHER WANDER PURSE BAG” from VASCO.

This leather drawstring bag is part of VASCO’s B.L.W. series, which modernizes the atmosphere of French antique bags for everyday use.

The body is made from carefully selected natural leather from Himeji, vegetable tanned and then hand-dyed using a traditional technique known as “Oka-zome.”
VASCO’s original scorching process is then applied to create the deep, aged character of its signature OLD OIL LEATHER.

The shoulder strap is adjustable, allowing the bag to be worn either as a standard shoulder bag or shortened for one-shoulder use.

The interior features one pocket, and the bag is large enough to hold A4-size items, making it practical for everyday use.

The name “B.L.W.” is derived from the words “Baggage,” “Load,” and “Wanderlust,” expressing the idea of filling the bag and setting off on a journey.

The opening is designed with a leather drawstring closure.
With continued use, the leather gradually softens and develops richer color, sheen, wrinkles, and other unique characteristics of OLD OIL LEATHER.

Available in two colors: Black and Camel.

Black offers a deeper, more understated appearance that emphasizes the weight and character of the OLD OIL LEATHER.
Camel highlights the natural tonal variation and patina of the leather, allowing its aging process to become even more visible over time.

OLD OIL LEATHER

OLD OIL LEATHER is one of VASCO’s signature materials.

Each piece is carefully hand-dyed using traditional techniques that represent the craftsmanship at the heart of the brand.

The leather is made from carefully selected high-quality natural hides sourced from Himeji, one of Japan’s best-known leather-producing regions.

This rare hand-dyeing process, practiced by only a limited number of craftsmen in Japan, was perfected through years of experimentation.

Through the skilled work of VASCO craftsmen, the leather develops the depth and presence of well-aged vintage leather.

With continued use, its color and luster deepen, while scratches and wrinkles become part of the individual character of the bag.
