Introducing the Forestier, Twisted Herringbone Tweed from WORKERS.

This model is WORKERS' interpretation of the iconic Forestier jacket originally produced by the renowned French house Arnys.

Unlike a traditional tailored jacket, the body is cut with little waist suppression, more like a shirt or coverall, while the sleeves are kept relatively straight.

The stand collar also gives the jacket a distinctive balance, allowing it to layer cleanly over shirts and knitwear without creating the visual weight of overlapping conventional collars.

The fabric is WORKERS' original Twisted Herringbone Tweed, the same material previously used for the Lounge Jacket.

For the warp, a black yarn composed of 90% wool and 10% nylon is twisted together with a 100% wool white yarn. A similar construction is used for the weft, creating a fabric with far more depth than a simple solid black cloth.

The result is a richly textured herringbone with subtle melange character and visual depth, giving the jacket a distinctive and sophisticated appearance.

Design details include a nearly square chest pocket, two lower patch pockets, and a straight-cut hem that retains the characteristic look of the Forestier.

The inside of the collar stand is finished with cotton flannel to reduce bulk and improve comfort against the neck. The sleeves are lined with smooth polyester twill for easier layering and movement.

The buttons are machine-sewn using lockstitch construction, then individually hand-wrapped at the shank, adding both durability and a more refined finish.

Two interior patch pockets provide additional practicality while keeping the construction light and efficient.

It is less formal than a traditional tailored jacket, yet more refined than a typical workwear coverall.

The unique character of the classic Forestier is reinterpreted here through WORKERS' fabric choices, construction, and practical approach to everyday wear.
