Freewheelers' original jungle cloth
Introducing the "DECK JACKET TYPE N-1".

This Freewheelers original deck jacket is based on the early N-1 jacket from the 1940s. It features a three-layer construction, a combination of jungle cloth and alpaca lining with cotton flannel sandwiched between them, a design previously seen in the brand's military clothing. This provides enhanced warmth and wind resistance.

[TEUFELHUND]

This custom design is inspired by the nickname (TEUFELHUND, "Hell Dogs") given to the US Marines, who were feared by the German army during World War I. The VMSB932 squadron patch is attached to the right chest. The design of a sideways facing bulldog with wings is extremely rare in the original, and there are many different types available in reproductions. This time, Freewheelers has once again created a very atmospheric design using felt and cotton thread.

The left chest features a USMC mark overprint over a USN dye-blend print, and the back features a USMARINE overprint over a USNAVY reflective print, as well as an airbrush stencil of the unit number and DEVIL DOG print.

The front zipper and button closure provide excellent wind protection, the alpaca-blend wool lining makes it extremely warm, and the inner ribbing on the cuffs prevents wind from seeping in even when riding a motorcycle or bicycle. The paraffin-coated jungle cloth becomes softer with wear and changes in appearance over time, making it a piece you can enjoy wearing for many years to come.
