【FEM】"WORK SHIRT" Heavy Flannel Plaid

Introducing the “WORK SHIRT” Heavy Flannel Plaid from FAR EAST MANUFACTURING.

Far East Manufacturing, or FEM, was launched in 2023 under the direction of Yoshiyuki Hayashi, known for RESOLUTE.

For the 2026 Fall/Winter season, the brand introduces its first flannel work shirt.

The fabric is a substantial 100% cotton heavy flannel.

Unlike heavily brushed flannel shirts, the surface has a relatively dry hand with a rugged, textured feel.

The fabric has a good amount of thickness and body, while gradually softening and conforming to the wearer with repeated use.

It works well as a light shirt jacket during the early autumn months, while also being easy to layer under sweatshirts, work jackets, or leather jackets as temperatures drop.

The design follows a straightforward work shirt style, featuring symmetrical gusseted chest pockets on both sides.

With unnecessary decoration kept to a minimum, the plaid pattern and distinctive color combinations become the main focus of the shirt.

The body length is set slightly shorter, giving the overall silhouette a clean and well-balanced appearance.

While retaining the rugged character of a traditional work shirt, it avoids looking overly bulky and pairs easily with a wide variety of trousers.

The strong color combinations are another key feature of this model. It works equally well as the main piece of an outfit or layered beneath leather jackets, work jackets, and vests.

A versatile heavy flannel shirt that can be worn throughout much of the fall and winter season.

SIZE INFORMATION / How to Choose Your Size

Body length is measured in a straight line from the center back of the neck to the hem. Chest width is measured straight across near the underarms with the garment laid flat.

Shoulder width is measured in a straight line from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Sleeve length is measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.
