【FINE CREEK & CO】 Harris Gaot BROWN

Introducing the Harris Gaot leather jacket in Brown from FINE CREEK & CO.

Inspired by the iconic D-pocket double riders jackets of the 1940s, this piece recreates the distinctive character of vintage motorcycle jackets through FINE CREEK & CO's own interpretation.

Decorative studs are placed on the epaulettes and pockets, while an additional flap pocket sits over the D-pocket. Studded leather zipper pulls also reference the original vintage design and add a strong visual accent.

The pattern, overall silhouette, and the size and placement of each component were repeatedly refined through multiple samples under the direction of Mr. Yamazaki of FINE CREEK, with careful attention paid to how the jacket looks when worn.

The outer shell is made from approximately 1.8mm thick goat skin, full vegetable-tanned and pigment-finished with a brown core. The leather is produced using FINE CREEK's original recipe.

This goat skin has a dense fiber structure and high moldability, resulting in a substantial and rugged feel that challenges the conventional image of goat leather.

With wear, deep creases develop around the arms and throughout the body, creating a powerful aging process that can rival even horsehide.

The brown leather develops even greater depth with wear as the brown core gradually becomes more visible, creating rich tonal variation and an expressive patina over time.

Combined with the substantial feel of the heavy goat skin, the Harris Gaot offers a distinctive wearing experience and the pleasure of watching the leather develop its own character over many years.
