Introducing the "Howard" leather peacoat from FINE CREEK & CO.
This leather coat is made from fully vegetable tanned 1.3mm thick horsehide (brown core). The style is based on the 1910 US NAVY P-COAT, and its main features are four pockets including hand warmers, a chin strap on the collar, and 10 buttons. The 13-star buttons used are also original. The lining is made of a wool blend, and the inside of the sleeves are made of wool serge, making it easy to put on. The navy lining matches the black horse leather very well. This is a piece that gives off a classic look.
Another major feature is that the wool lininghas a three-layer structure of leather + Thinsulate + wool blend, with 3M Thinsulate sandwiched inside,making it an extremely cold-weather garment that can withstand the harsh cold of midwinter.
It feels heavy when you hold it in your hand, but when you wear it you don't feel it's so heavy, itfeels soft and comfortable, and the silhouette is clean, making it a truly impressive leather coat.
