Introducing the all-new “Jay Jacket” from WORKERS.
This piece is made from WORKERS’ original sweatshirt fabric, which has substantial weight while remaining soft and comfortable, with a structure that helps resist losing its shape.
The design was inspired by a vivid blue fleece jacket that remained strongly in designer Tateyama’s memory from a music video he saw in the 1990s.
Using the distinctive color balance and silhouette from that time as a reference, together with vintage fleece pieces, WORKERS has reinterpreted the atmosphere in sweatshirt fabric.
The jacket features a generously relaxed body and a wide neck that rises high toward the chin.
The cuffs are finished with elastic piping for a clean fit, while the hem is equipped with an elastic drawcord and stopper, allowing the silhouette to be adjusted.
An original chest logo, produced in a color combination inspired by the source image, adds another subtle reference to the original mood.
The fit is intentionally very roomy, with enough space to layer a heavy sweatshirt or knit underneath.
Rather than feeling like a standard sweatshirt, it has the volume of a light outerwear piece and works well for everyday winter wear, especially for driving or short outings.
As it is made from sweatshirt fleece rather than a windproof outerwear fabric, it does not offer the same level of wind protection, but in return provides excellent softness and comfort.
Produced as a highly personal, one-off concept piece, the Jay Jacket captures the playful and distinctive approach that makes WORKERS so interesting.

SIZE INFORMATION / How to Choose Your Size
Body length is measured in a straight line from the center back of the neck, where the collar meets the body, to the hem. Chest width is measured straight across from underarm to underarm with the garment laid flat.
Sleeve length is measured from the center back of the neck, following the shoulder line to the end of the cuff.
This jacket has a very relaxed silhouette, so we recommend comparing the measurements with a sweatshirt or outerwear piece you already own.
